Emily Berthiaume

Emily graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences and a minor in Pharmaceutical Sciences from Northeastern University in 2023. She is currently working at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center as an Administrative Coordinator and a Research Assistant.

Emily joined this lab to learn more about the role that sleep plays in mental and physical health and emotional regulation. Long term, she is interested in Public Health and applying research findings in the form of clinical and community interventions to better improve both individual and population level health.

Outside of work, Emily is particularly interested in mindfulness and meditation and is curious to investigate the effects these practices have on sleep, attention, emotional regulation, and mental health. She also enjoys writing, painting, and creating in her free time.
