Phoebe Aney

Phoebe currently works as a clinical research coordinator at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center. Phoebe received her Bachelor of Arts in Psychological Science from the University of Vermont and is hoping to pursue a doctoral degree in Clinical Health Psychology. Phoebe’s primary research interests focus on prenatal and postnatal maternal mental health. Phoebe joined this lab to learn more about the effect sleep and sleep loss has on emotional processing with the hope to be able use this knowledge when working with future clients struggling with postpartum mental health issues. Phoebe’s long term research goal is to understand how postpartum depression and anxiety affects maternal-infant bonding and a child’s future development into adulthood.
